Control Yourself

As Christians we must learn how to control ourselves. We must learn how to control our actions, thought life and certainly our tongues. Show me a Christian without temperance (self control) and I will show you a person who opens himself/herself up to all types of demonic influence which will attack their lives.

In fact, (Pro 25:28) says “He that hath no rule over his spirit is like a city that is broken down and without walls.” Hence, if your spirit is not under the influence of the Holy Spirit daily, then as a confessed born again believer, you are subject to say or do anything.

Without the Holy Spirit ruling over your spirit, your spirit is left unprotected, vulnerable and open to the things of the world, the flesh, and the devil. Let us be sure that everyday we live, we have submitted our will and our spirit to the will of the Holy Spirit so we don’t get caught up in ungodly situations.
