Cutoff Sin

Whatever keeps you from getting to heaven must be removed from your life.  It doesn’t matter who or what it is; whether it is family or friends…momma-daddy-sister-best friend…etc.  Jesus was clear about this fact when He spoke on the Sermon of the Mount (Matt 5:29-30).   Jesus said “and if thy right eye offends thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offends thee cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one member should perish; and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.”In this particular text, Jesus is (not) telling us to literally cutoff our physical limbs that we may enter into heaven, because getting into heaven is not about our physical stature it’s about our heart-our inner-man.  However, He is telling us that whatever or whoever hinders our walk with God or causes us to fall into sin we must (cut them off-or remove them from our lives).  Therefore, if you are a Christian single (man/woman) and someone is trying to convince you to have sex with them-you need to cut them off.  If you are a young person and you have a friend(s) trying to get you to experience alcohol-drugs-sex or even gang banging, you must cut them off.  If you are a husband or wife and you are thinking of having an adulterous affair, you have to cut it off.  In other words, if you are involved in anything that keeps you from growing in the things of God, you must cut it off.  The term (CUT IT OFF) in the Old Testament spoke of being violent with sin, and we who are  the New Testament saints need to be spiritually violent with sin if heaven is to be our home.  Furthermore, sin is not to be played with-because if you play with sin—sin will play with you, and the thing about sin is, when the playing is over—sin doesn’t want to go home—he wants’ to continue to play. Anytime sin shows up in our lives, we must make sin pay, by immediate repentance and a declaration that this particular sin will not have dominion in our lives and declare to the Devil that he is defeated.  Listen, God has given us a way to cut off sin and it’s through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, don’t play with sin—Cut It Off and Cast It From Thee.

                                   God Bless You.
