The Lord has made the believer numerous promises in his word. In (Psalm 91:14-15) the Lord shares with us some of the “I will” promises when he says “Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” However, it all starts with our love for God. If we will love God, and love what he loves, there are promises throughout his word which have to manifest themselves in our lives. That’s why love is the root of the fruit of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit all grow out of love, and the promises of God manifest themselves through that love. Furthermore, when God makes a promise he never says “oh my fault, I didn’t mean to say that;” hence, when God makes a promise and we line up in obedience to his word, the promises of God have to come to pass. Therefore, if the promises of God hadn’t been fulfilled in your life, don’t blame the Lord; take a look at yourself because the Lord always comes through.
God Bless You.
