(2nd Tim 3:1 KJV) says “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”
Child of God I can’t exactly tell you we are in the last days. However, what we do know is that we are living in perilous times. Hence, we are living in dangerous times. When I was growing up you could still go to bed on a warm night with your windows open; and even if you had forgotten to lock your front door you would still be alright. However, try going to sleep and leaving your windows up and your front door unlocked now and you might not wake up the next morning…if you know what I mean. When you examine the way life is going on a broad scope you have to agree that it’s getting dangerous out here. Thus, when children have no respect or fear for parents, adults or authority figures (police) there is danger in the air. When people will take your life for nothing, without remorse, we are living in perilous times. When those who we have elected to represent us in various levels of government are morally challenged, corrupt and can be bought whether by money or sex, we are living in perilous times. When pastors in the pulpit are beginning to fall like dominoes because of their collaboration with the world, the flesh and the devil, we are living in perilous times. Furthermore, as the economy get’s worse if society doesn’t learn to depend on the Lord, things in America will certainly get worse. Because an unemployed hungry man is most certainly a dangerous man; however, for those who trust in the Lord, David said “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all (Psalm 34:19).” Thus, the body of Christ could see some perilous times, but how we handle them will speak volumes about where our trust lies.
God Bless You
