The second promise God made to Abraham (Abram) was “I will bless thee.” Hence, those of us that are already in Christ Jesus are blessed even as our spiritual father Abraham was. If the Lord has saved your soul and made you whole, you’re blessed. If he has delivered you from the bondages of sin, you’re blessed; if you have a roof over your head some food on your table and gainful employment, you’re blessed. In fact, if God didn’t do anything else but save your soul you would still be blessed. However, we know that God is not satisfied with only saving our soul; he truly wants us to be blessed. The Lord was so serious about our blessing and prosperity that (3rd John 2KJV) says “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as our soul prospereth.” Thus, one of the greatest blessings God could ever give us would be prosperity in our health and prosperity in our soul. Thus, to have wealth in our health and wealth in our spiritual body is more important than how much money we have in the bank; because you can have plenty of money and not have the health or the wisdom to enjoy it. Finally, in the day in which we live in it is truly a blessing to have peace of mind. If you have peace of mind, you know that you are blessed.
God Bless You
