The Apostle Paul said in (2nd Tim 4:7) “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith.”
The Apostle Paul understood that if heaven was to be his he had to fight for it. Hence, the term “I have fought a good fight;” he understood that the Devil wasn’t going to let him just dance his way into heaven, but that it would come with a price. And we too must understand that getting into heaven for real won’t be an easy task and in fact there is a price we must pay as well. However, it will be worth it, because few will actually find it. If heaven is our goal we must be willing to fight for it spiritually and take authority over Satan, our flesh, the world and even our own mind. The fight for heaven is so real that Paul said “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph 6:12).” All this demon influence is designed to keep us from making it to heaven and in fact destroy the rest of our life in the process. There are levels of demons and unclean spirits set up to keep you from operating in heavenly places. However, if you have the skill-will-desire and of course the Holy Spirit you too can become one of the few, the proud, the heaven bound. But child of God you must fight for it; which means you must obey God, live a life of faith in God, and love-love and love even more. It’s too many pastors out here preaching and teaching a watered down gospel which makes many believe that if I’m relatively a good person and I treat everybody right I must be heaven bound. However, you have to do much more than that and you have to be willing to fight for it.
God Bless You
