Anytime you are trying to do anything for God there will be opposition from the enemy of your soul. The prophet Nehemiah was a prime example of that (Ref- Neh. 4). God had given him a vision to rebuild the wall in Jerusalem; however, there were a couple of guys by the name of Sanballat and Tobiah who tried to hinder the work, those who tried to keep the work from coming to pass. Thus, I said all of that to say this, when you are trying to make a change for righteousness sake, when you are trying to bring about a change for God in your home, in your community, in your workplace or even in your own life you can expect opposition. The Devil doesn’t want anybody trying to live right, he wants fear not faith, he wants hatred not love, he wants chaos not peace, and he wants strife not reasoning. However, as Christians we must follow Nehemiah’s model and fall on our knees and pray and seek God for answers when opposition, adversity and challenges arise in our lives. The Lord has the solution to any problem we face, and we have to be willing to seek him out and obey his instructions in the face of opposition. Child of God when opposition comes your way don’t allow it to destroy you, don’t allow it to keep you down, don’t allow it to cause you to give up, just set your face toward heaven and keep pressing toward finishing what God has called you to do, because (Jeremiah 32:27) “Behold I am the Lord God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” The answer to that is a resounding “NO”.
God Bless You
