As Christians we can’t do wrong and expect not to receive our just reward. Thus, we know that we reap what we sow. However, as it pertains to doing wrong the Apostle Paul takes it a step further when he says “But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons” (Col 3:25). Thus, for all the wrong, for all the dirt that a man does there will be a price to pay. When you look at all that’s going on in America today with the mortgage crisis (people losing their homes and there is no relief for them), the economy and the large financial bailout that’s causing the rich to get richer and the poor to be even poorer, some people are going to pay a heavy price for their greed when they meet their maker. And the fact is there is no respect of person with God. Thus, God doesn’t care how much money you make, he doesn’t care what your ethnic background is; he doesn’t care what religion you claim to be or even who your momma and daddy is. The only thing he is looking at is the motives of your heart, and there are some ugly hearts out there that made a ton of money, and sent a lot of people to the edge of the ledge in their minds behind their financial situation. The fact is there will be a big payback. To the believer, unbeliever and sinner we must understand that we get away with nothing and God sees all. Therefore, when you think you have gotten away with something and God is just overlooking your foolishness, think again because it’s recorded in heaven and there will be a judgment day. Your day may not come on earth but after you have inhaled for the last time, how you lived your life on earth will be weighed in the balance and if you are found in the wrong you will have to pay for eternity.
God Bless You
