This is truly a time to be merry. Whether you got everything you wanted or not if you are in Christ Jesus you got more than enough. Furthermore, if you have your life, health and strength; if you have the activities of your limbs; if you have family and friends that’s alive and well this is a merry Christmas. If you have peace of mind and peace in your home this is certainly a time to be joyous, even excited about the birth of our Lord and savior. Maybe for the kids it’s more about the toys and joys of the season; however, for those of us who do know our God it’s about reflection, pondering and thanksgiving for the things which the Father has done in sending the Son to redeem us from the power and effects of sin. Thus, on this day we celebrate the birth of the Jesus Christ, and I hope you will allow it to be just that, a celebration, a time of giving, loving and fellowshipping with family and friends. Remember, God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him would not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Saints of God be blessed and enjoy the blessings of the Lord during this season.
God Bless You.
