The Power Of Agreement

There is power in agreement.  If you can get at least two people working together on anything you have the ability to see power.  However, if you can get two or more gathered in prayer in the name of Jesus they can do supernatural things.  They have the ability to do exceedingly and abundantly more than they could ask or think.  We see that power of agreement in the prayer life of the apostles in the book of Acts.  These men of God mobilized themselves in an upper room and as the bible says “They all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren” (Acts 1:14), and ushered the Holy Ghost right into the midst of the church, and the body of Christ hadn’t been the same since.  We need to thank God for these pioneers of faith because all though they had been told by Jesus that the Holy Ghost would come, they didn’t just take it for granted.  They didn’t decide it was business as usual; thus, they didn’t just go back to their mundane lives and when the Spirit comes it comes.  No, they went to a place together and set their mind on Jesus and bombarded heaven with prayer to the degree that the Holy Spirit could do nothing else but come in a hurry with the sound of a rushing mighty wind.  We need to thank God for the faithful who have come before us and paved a path for us to walk in the Spirit of God.

                             God Bless You.
