5 Signs Of A Mission Minded Leader-Part2

The second sign we see in the life of this type of leader is opposition:  In other words if we are really on a God mission there will be opposition from the devil (Neh. 4:1-3, 7, 8).  I don’t think Nehemiah believed that he was going to do something great for God without facing some opposition.  In Fact, those who are really on a mission for the Lord will experience opposition because they are a threat to the Kingdom of Hell.  And we can’t possibly believe that we are going to do something great for God without a fight on our hands.  The fact is when we start messing with his stuff he’s going to mess with our stuff.  And his stuff is anything that’s been wrapped up, tied up, and tangled up in sin for years.  Thus, he believes that these communities and cities are his because no one has challenged him for them and he will fight back.  That’s why if we going to be a part of a move of God, we need to get our families prepared, we need to get our relationships, finances and heart prepared, because whatever weakness the enemy can exploit, whatever area of our lives which seems be vulnerable, if he believes that he can get us to back up from the mission, he will attack that with a violence that we’ve never seen.  The Apostle Peter puts it this way “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trials which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ suffering; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy (1 PT. 4:12-13).”   Therefore, if we are marching towards hell to take it by storm and we catch some hell on the way, don’t look at it as a strange occurrence.  Just know that you are on the right mission and find a way to rejoice in Christ.

                   God Bless You
