New Beginnings-Part 1

The first change we must make in order to catapult us into a new beginning is: we must change our thought process. (Isa. 55:8-9) says “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”  Thus, we must elevate our thought process.  We must reach for higher heights in our thinking processes.  And the only way to go up and reach the thought process of heaven is to go down on our knees in prayer consistently and persistently.  There must be a change of attitude and this attitude change comes by way of shifting to the mind of Christ.  And the mind of Christ is a mind that’s filled with the word of God.  Thus, we must feed our minds daily with the word of God, because if we are to have a new beginning we have to see ourselves from God’s perspective.  In fact, for the believer the only perspective that matters is God’s perspective.  That’s why it’s important that we have leaders over us who have the ability to hear from God because when we can’t see God’s perspective for our own lives, they have the ability to help us see from God’s perspective.  Saints of God, the thought process is important to God because he understands that whatever captures the mind captures the man, and He desires for us to be captured by His word.
