Two accounts

Everything we do or say in this life is sown to one of two accounts. It is either credited to your fleshly account or credited to your spiritual account, but it is credited to your account with your name on it. You see when it comes time for us to be judged, God won’t have a hard time figuring out whether heaven or hell is ours because all He will have to do is pull up our account, and based on which account has the most credit or capital (money), will determine your destiny. If you have been doing a lot of ungodly things in word or deed-then your fleshly account will be plentiful. On the other hand, if you have been doing Godly things in word or deed, your spiritual account will be plentiful. As Christians when we stand before God we want our fleshly account to have “insufficient funds,” this is the only time that you want your checks to bounce.

Some of you may be wondering whether or not this makes since. Well (Gal 6:7-8) says “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Therefore understanding the breakdown of this scripture leads me to believe that there are two accounts that we sow into everyday, and every hour of the day, those are the flesh and the Spirit; and we are either sowing to corruption (hell)-or life everlasting (heaven). Have you checked the balance on your account today? One of the ways you can do that is to examine your lifestyle thoroughly.

God Bless You
