A Relentless Devil

Luke 4:13 says “And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.”

Even after the Devil lost his battle with Jesus in the wilderness temptation he only gave up for a season, (meaning that he would be back). He was not convinced that he couldn’t get Jesus to fall; he was not convinced that Jesus was as strong as he seemed; he was not convinced that just because he lost this battle, he wouldn’t win the next one. And if he didn’t give up on Jesus in his quest to get him to fall, he will never give up on us either. Don’t ever let your guard down when it comes to dealing with your enemy. The Devil is relentless in his pursuit to get us a recliner in hell. Furthermore, it doesn’t matter how long we have been saved, or how much word we know, or how great of a title we have, or how many tongues we can speak in or even how well you can sing. In fact, it doesn’t even matter who your pastor is or how much power or popularity he/she has. The only thing that matters is what we are able to live. Saints of God,we can never get to a place where we believe we can’t fall or that our leaders can’t fall because the moment we get to thinking that way, we have already fallen, we just don’t know it yet, because we strive with an enemy that is relentless.

God Bless You.
