What Do You Do When You Don’t Know what To Do? Part 4

The fifth thing Jeshoshaphat did according to (2nd Chr. 20:14) was the Spirit of the Lord was invoked to show up. You see one of the things we come to understand about God is if you make God your number one priority, if you pray in agreement the right way and if you fast long enough the Spirit of the Lord will show up and do things that we could have never, ever done on our own. And essentially that’s what this King had done up unto this point. Thus, it’s important to have the ministry of the Holy Spirit at work when we are seeking God on how to go about doing anything. The fact is that we operate in the ministry of the Holy Spirit and it was this ministry which came forth and began to give the nation of Judah the instructions of what they should do if they expected to be victorious. And it is this ministry that we must obey and become sensitive to if we are going to be victorious over the enemies of our own soul.

The sixth thing he did according to (2nd Chr. 20:17) was he stood. The text says “set yourselves, stand ye still and see the salvation of the Lord with you”; thus, after you have done all you know to do; the only thing left to do is to stand. Saint’s of God when you have obeyed God you have the right to remind God of his promises. To stand is to stand on the promises of his word; and having done all stand is to remind God, as well as ourselves in the midst of crisis that, “greater is He that is me than he that is in the world”; it is to say to ourselves “No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper”. Thus, it is literally to believe, receive and walk in His promises as you wait for them to physically manifest themselves; so having done all “Stand”.

God Bless You
