(1Tim 4:12) says “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
The second trait that a Godly leader should have according to Apostle Paul’s letter to Timothy is he/she must be an example in conversation: This word conversation has more to do with our actions than it does our words. It’s much more about our conduct than anything else because actions often speak louder than words. Thus, a Godly leader or a Christian in general must examine and monitor their conduct on an ongoing basis. We can never take a day off; we can never forget who we are and act in a way that’s not pleasing to God. Jesus was so serious about a believers conduct that he said in (1 Pt 1:15-16) “But as he which has called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, be ye Holy; for I am Holy”. This call for us to be holy in all manner of conversation or conduct is not optional. We can’t decide that we want to be holy when it suits us or when Sunday morning comes around we want to put on our holy suit. But this is required living in order to get into heaven. Therefore, if you are in the body of Christ living a life that is sanctified and set apart unto the Lord is a must.
God Bless You
