A Word Of Encouragement

With all the problems and issues facing our nation today there are some things that are still very certain in our lives and it’s encouraging when we begin to think about those things. Hence, those things that are very certain that provide us with hope is that the Gospel of Jesus Christ still has all the solutions to the world’s problems. Secondly, prayer is still the most powerful force on earth: For the Lord tells us to in (1 Thess 5:17) “To pray without ceasing”. Thirdly, the praise of God will still go forth with power and might regardless of how hard it gets because real Christians know that God inhabits the praises of his people and wherever God is that’s where we want to be; thus, we have the ability to usher his presence into our lives through true praise. Also, God is still in the business of blessing those who are obedient to his word. Just because we have been in the grips of a recession doesn’t mean God has quit blessing. He is still blessing those who honor and serve him.

Finally, there is still room at the foot of the cross for those who don’t know Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. Yes it’s good to know that no matter how difficult life gets we have a savior that’s ready, willing and able to save our souls and make us whole. We have a savior that loves us and is beckoning us to kneel at the foot of the cross at Calvary for the right to receive the gift of salvation. In the times we live in it’s so good to know that there is someone that loves us, and cares for us, to the degree that He (Jesus) died for us. This savior tells us in (Matt 11:28-30) “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Stop trying to do it on your own and come to Jesus who has the answers regardless of the times.

God Bless You
