If we are to possess what God really has for us, we must first confess it; (Rom 10:9-10) says “That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thy heart that God hath raised thee from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Thus, if you confess something from your mouth, you put your heart in a position to believe that it is so. We all should understand that there is no possession of salvation until your confession comes forth.
Thus, your confession must lead your possession if you are to have the promises of God, and when you confess it before God, it is so right then, whether it looks like it or not; because after you speak it your faith in God activates it and brings it to the present. Hence, just because you don’t see it in the natural right away doesn’t mean it hadn’t already been loosed in the spirit. Therefore, if we are to possess it, we must first confess it. The Lord proved that to us when He “called those things that be not as though they were” (Rom 4:17); you have that same God living in you to call those things forth.
God Bless You.
