(1Pt 3:15) “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.”
To sanctify our hearts to the Lord is to make a space in our hearts for the Lord and become committed to him. It’s also to allow him to overtake our hearts and begin to clean us up from the mess we have been in. Secondly, as the Lord sanctifies your heart, be prepared to share your hope in the Lord with anyone who would ask; be prepared to defend the faith on behalf of the Lord Jesus Christ. You see as Christians we have to have a word in our hearts for those who need it and we may never know when it’s needed, where it’s needed or why it’s needed; but nevertheless we have to be prepared to share it. Finally, let’s be sure we share it with enthusiasm, with meekness and with the fear of the Lord; meaning those whom we share this word with must see our reverence-respect and joy for the Lord if they are to receive from us what God has for them.
God Bless You
