For the believer, as it pertains to giving, what you put out is what you will receive. If you give a little to God you will receive little from God. Conversely, if you give much to God you will receive much from God. Also the attitude with which you give is as important as what you give, because as the title of this message says, God loves a cheerful giver. If you intend to give God something such as money, time, energies…etc, and you are complaining about it the whole time or you give it grudgingly, then it is best that you don’t give it at all because God won’t honor it.
God is bound by His word, thus He want do anything outside of what His word says, so if you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly and if you sow bountifully you will reap bountifully (2 Cor. 9:6); hence, however you sow at least you will reap. I don’t know about you but there is a need to sow much because there is so much that we (the body of Christ) have need of.
Child of God, in the world in which we live today, the only one we can depend on is God. You can’t possibly believe your job will always be there, and even if it is always there, you can’t possibly believe you will always make enough to provide, because when you get sick, there isn’t enough money in the world to heal your body. We have to sow into the God account with our time, energy, effort and finances so when we have a need we have some fruit stored up for God to work with.
God Bless You
