The blood of Jesus brought about so many great things for the believer. It brought about a better or new covenant. It moved us from law to grace. The blood of Jesus opened the door for the Holy Spirit to rest, rule and abide in us. The blood of Jesus ripped into the veil of the temple so that all of us who are born again believers in Christ Jesus would have access to the presence of God without any other mediator but Christ.
The blood of Jesus has given us all an opportunity to be a “chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people: that we should show forth the praises of him who hath called us out of darkness into this marvelous light (1 Pt 2:9);” hence, we all have become priest and kings of God. The blood of Jesus has translated us from sacrificing animals to the sacrificing of our own lives, from our thoughts, actions and words in order to get closer to Jesus.
The blood of Jesus has allowed the Lord to become our chief intercessor in heaven at the right hand of the throne of God; and we all need that. Finally, the blood of Jesus has presented us with an option to receive the gift of salvation. There is no salvation without the shed blood of Jesus; because there is no other name under heaven whereby men can be saved (Acts 4:12).
God Bless You
