There is so much in this word that we are missing. There is so much that we don’t see or know. There is so much more to this portrait called the Gospel which we have yet to figure out. The truth is that it will take a life time to figure it out, and even then some things about the word of God we won’t capture until we get to heaven. However, King David said “Open Thou my eyes that I may behold the wondrous things out of your law (Psalm 119:18).” Thus, David was saying there is more to this word than what I see on the surface.
Hence, if we are going to see this word as God would have us to see it, we are going to have to study, meditate, fast and ultimately ask the Lord to let us see the wondrous things out of His law. As we go into our bibles to study the word our prayer should be “Lord let me see-let me see what you need me to see.”
Saints of God if we can begin to look at the whole portrait of the Gospel instead of the part of the picture that suits us, or the part that we think is for someone else and not us, we will become powerful people in the Lord. Thus, I say again “Lord let us see, because when we see as you see, our spiritual sight will become more sensitive to your Spirit.
God Bless You
