God doesn’t like it when those who profess to serve him are complainers. In fact, if Christ is your all and all for real what is there to complain about? If He is the one who is our provider…if He is the one who is more than enough…if He is the one with all power in his hand, and we believe in him then why is there so much complaining going on in the body of Christ. If we have our life, health and strength, and the basics of life met…food, clothing and shelter, then we who are believers have nothing to complain about. It could certainly be much worse, but the fact is that the word says “God shall supply all our need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”, and for many of us He has done just that.
If we would look at our lives, some of us are way past God supplying the need and are over into the area of God giving us the desires of our heart and yet we still complain. The Father was so fed up with complainers that (Numbers 11:1) says “And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost part of the camp”.
The truth is it is so easy to become discontented with our lives…it is so easy to get caught up in the woe is me game. It is so easy to fall into that don’t nobody understand what I am going through, to the degree that we find ourselves living in the city called complaining and not even realize that we have moved there, and the Lord has moved out because He won’t live in the city called complaining. And the fact is that there are a lot of Christians at that address. The next time you want to complain, consider first how Christ would fill about it, and secondly, consider what He has done for you, and maybe you will think twice about what you are about to say.
God Bless You
