(Gal 6:9) says “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Christians must continue in well doing even when it’s difficult. We must continue to obey God and serve him at the greatest level we can. We must continue to love when others have stopped loving, we must continue to give of ourselves when giving seems to have run its course. We must continue to be compassionate when others have given up on man. We must continue to exemplify the glory of God in our lives even in the midst of a crooked and perverse world.
Continuing to do well is often difficult because there are times in our lives where we too want to faint. There are times in the life of the believer when we face some very difficult challenges, to the degree where we feel like if we could drop the well doing and do it our way at least this one time, that things would somehow turn out better.
However, those who continue in well doing, those who will obey God no matter what, those who have decided that they will not faint (give up) will reap a harvest from the Lord in due season. Thus, due season is God’s time not ours. Therefore, hold on saints and don’t give up in well doing.
God Bless You
