There is an old saying that (you can’t keep a good man down). But the fact is that without God in his life it is possible that a good man (and there are many good men who don’t serve the Lord) with good intentions can fail and actually cause failure to destroy him; when failure should actually help us grow up in some areas. However, it’s hard to keep a God man down. We know this to be true because (Prov. 24:16 KJV) says “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” Thus, for a man of God, failure is certainly possible but allowing failure to defeat us should not be. I’m sure failure has crushed a believer or two, but in God’s eyes failure should be the stepping stone towards our destiny.
Failure should make us not break us. Failure should cause us to seek God even more to find out what went wrong and how do we do it right the next time and what should we learn from failure. Many of us have failed and that’s okay, because if we are really trying to make a difference in the world; if we are really trying to do something for the kingdom of God it’s possible that we could fail again, because the only people who aren’t failing are the people who aren’t doing anything, or those who are afraid to take any risk. In fact, they could still be failing because they are not maximizing their potential. Don’t allow failure to overtake you, overtake failure by trusting and believing in God who understands failure in ways that we have never realized.
God Bless You
