As Christians we must learn to serve God regardless of the situation we find ourselves in. If we are in debt up to our necks we must continue to serve; if we are in the midst of stressful situations we must continue to serve. If we are facing challenging situations on our jobs we must continue to serve, and we must serve the Lord with passion and fervency. The situations and circumstances which we face shouldn’t dictate what heart we are going to have towards God as it pertains to serving him.
King David had some men in some pretty stressful situations that had a made up mind to serve God and fight with him regardless of their circumstances. (1 Sam 22:2) says “And everyone that was in distress, and everyone that was in debt, and everyone that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.”
Thus, regardless of how hard things was in these men lives, regardless of their individual situations, these men looked to a power much higher than themselves, put their situations in the hand of this higher power ( The Lord God) and pressed through their own issues to follow a man who was serving the true and living God.
Hence, saints of God that’s what we must do. We must press through our individual circumstances and situations and serve the living God because at the end of the day he is the only one that is able to fix your circumstances. Therefore, if you will handle his business (becoming a living witness for him) he will handle yours. With that said, let’s serve him regardless of how hard things seem to get because they could get harder. However, the Lord will have the last word.
God Bless You
