Where Is Your Head At?

(Col 3:2) “Set your affection on things above, not on things of the earth.”

As Christians we should spend most of our time thinking about heaven and the things that concern God than we should the things of the earth. What we spend most of our time thinking about says a lot about where we are spiritually. If our minds are so consumed with the things that are going on in the world and how they affect us then we may be too encumbered by the flesh.

However, if we give those worldly things which affect us in this world to God and ask him for the solutions to those issues then we may be on the path to spiritual thinking. Yes we know we are in the world but after we give our lives to Christ we are not of the world. Thus, we must begin to think on heavenly things. In fact, as kingdom saints the apostle Paul told us what our kingdom thought process should be made up of when he said “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Phil. 4:8).” Thus, kingdom saints have their head wrapped around kingdom thinking.

God Bless You
