(St.Luke 11:34) says “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thy eye is single, thy whole body is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.”
What do you see when you look at life? What do you see when you look at your own life? If the light of the body is the eye, then it’s imperative that believers see life and their life in general through the lens of the Holy Ghost. As Christians we must examine how we see. Do we look our lives from a pessimistic standpoint or an optimistic standpoint?
Do we look at our lives through the word of God or through the word of the world? Do we look at our lives from a spiritual or carnal standpoint? We need the light of the Holy Spirit exuding from our eyes to the degree that it is single: meaning that we must attempt to see everything in our lives through the eyes of God, however, in order to do that we must be spiritually minded.
Too many Christians have been looking at life through the eyes of their own carnal thought process or through the eyes of what the Devil is saying and our eyes have retained some evil to the degree that our bodies are becoming dark. We must change the glasses we are looking through and begin to ask the Lord for new vision, because it is possible that what you see you will be.
God Bless You
