(Isa. 59:19) “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”
As Christians, we are men/women of a standard. We have been called by God to live our lives a certain way; to talk a certain way, and to act a certain way. We have been called to live holy, thus, whatever, whenever, or however God wants to use us we should make ourselves available to be used for his glory. As a result when the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord is going to lift up a standard against him, and we (the Christians) are the standard which He is raising up in the earth to do battle with the enemy.
If God’s called out ones don’t stand and take authority, who will? If the believer doesn’t fight for what’s just, and what’s righteous who will? If we aren’t willing to reclaim the territory that the enemy has stolen from us, and our friends, communities and loved ones who will be available to do it? He has raised us up for a time such as this, so when the enemy rises up, don’t be surprised if the Lord calls us to the frontline of the battle to do war. The Lord didn’t save us just so we could be sure we got to heaven, he saved us to pull as many as we could from the snares of hell through the power of the Holy Spirit. With that said, we are the standard which the enemy should see when he shows up to try to takeover. The question is: are you preparing for war during your days of peace?
God Bless You
