Fellowship

(Phil 1:27) says “Only let you conversation (conduct) be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.

If we as Christians are ever going to get to the place where we are standing fast in one spirit, with one mind, striving together for the faith of the gospel we must be willing to put away our petty differences, grievances, jealousies, disunities and fellowship one with the other. Fellowship is one of the keys to spiritual growth and it occurs when Christians share their walk with God in an environment of love and mutual respect; when we are sometimes willing to make ourselves vulnerable in the midst of believers, as we come to know one another by the Spirit, because it is only by the Spirit of God that we would even have the power to become one and strive together for the faith of the gospel.

You will not see this type of unity among the believers without fellowship. Because how can you really become one if you never come together with the army of believers to share your faith. The plan of the enemy is to keep the BOC striving and fighting each other because as long as we are at odds, as long as we are looking at one another out of the corner of our eye with any level of distrust then we won’t have time to strive together for the faith, and that exactly what Satan desires.

God Bless You
