It’s good to know that when things get rough; when the challenges and adversities of life weigh us down we have a place of security even a hiding place. The psalmist says “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust (Psalms 91:2).” Thus, if He is going to be our refuge we need to confess that He is and then we need to live our lives as if He is. To be our refuge is to be a place of protection, a place of shelter, a place of security. To be our fortress is to be a fortified place, a stronghold, a place where we can go and spend with God and no demon in Hell can breakthrough when we are in that place. The truth is that every one of us should have a hiding place in our homes; a place where we can go to be alone with the one who protects from danger. A place where we can go to receive instructions on how to live this life victoriously; a place where we can go and pour our hearts out to Him in good times and in bad. Therefore, when the storms of life seem as if they are getting the best of you, when the wind and the waves seem as if they are overtaking you, and it seems as if you are sinking in the quicksand of life just know that you have a hiding place where you can go to get peace of mind and that hiding place begins with the word of God.
God Bless You
