(Malachi 3:2-3) says “But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.”
The Messiah’s mission is to separate the godly from the ungodly and to refine those he set’s apart for himself. But any refining of metals is done with great heat, thus the refining process of the children of God won’t be pleasant. However, just as a metal smith carefully watches and regulates the fire to produce purified silver and gold, the Lord carefully watches over his children, making sure the temperature in the refining process called (trouble) is heated just right so that it will produce a purity in us that causes the image of Jesus Christ to shine through. Saints of God don’t disdain your refining process, for it is this process that is changing you which will cause you to forever be in his presence where there is a real relationship with God.
God Bless You
