Start with the vision if you plan to succeed

If you are not making mistakes, you are not traveling the road to success. If you are waiting for the time to be right to begin, you will never begin. It is true that mistakes are costly and that the timing must be right, but it is also important to know that inertia is hard to overcome. Our American “jackpot” mentality makes us eager for a quantum leap into success, but success more often is a result of many, many small wins (sprinkled with a generous helping of failures). Success is more a journey than a destination. If you are not now making progress on your own journey, you will never find success. You must take the risk to enjoy the prize, and very often the end result of the prize starts out with a vision. Without the vision you are simply fumbling around in the dark. (Ref. Hab.2:2)
