The Song of Songs opens with a Shulamite woman saying “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine (Song of Songs 1:2).
Kissing in marriage is a sign of love, sexual desire or reverence for your spouse. And spouses need to kiss more and allow intimacy to arise to make you drunk with love instead of simply heading for the sheets. Kissing gives God the opportunity to lead the love encounter, kissing gives God the opportunity to stir up the process of making love to the degree that both leave the marriage bed satisfied. However, I find that many couples kissed frequently before they got married, but after getting married, especially if they have been married for some-time, the joy of a kiss was few and far between. Let me encourage you to get excited about the kiss in your marriage like the Shulamite woman did when she was in the presence of her love because the kiss can stir up a level of intimacy that you may not have experienced in a while.
God Bless You
