The second characteristic of A Godly wife according to (1Peter 3:1-2) is she must be one of Godly behavior. She must know how to carry herself. She must know how to love, respect and treat her husband, whether he is saved or not; because the Apostle Paul said that a unbelieving husband who desires to stay with his wife is sanctified by a believing wife. In other words, sanctification (holiness or being set apart for God) can birth itself in a husband whose wife understands how to remain Godly in marriage regardless of how good or bad the marriage is. Thus, a wife can put her unsaved husband in an atmosphere where he can hear from God if she would only be who she is suppose to be in Christ Jesus. Many husbands have gotten saved or have drawn nearer to Christ because of the holiness of God they witnessed in their wives. Wives remain Godly, no matter what, because you never know when a change is going to come upon your spouse and your house.
