Secondly, the man would be joined with his wife: To be joined in the Hebrew means (to stick or glue together). Like two pieces of material being glued together the husband and wife can’t be torn apart unless one or the other decides intentionally or unintentionally to separate or tear themselves from the marriage. However, in the beginning God expected the two to be joined for life, to stick together through thick and thin, good and bad, and in the ups and the downs of life. In other words, marriage is work and nothing from nothing leaves nothing.
