As Christians it is imperative that we have a regular diet of the word daily if we are to get the victory over sin and be who God said we are. For the psalmist says “Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against thee” (Psalm 119:11). There is no guarantee that we won’t sin against God (at times) even with the word of God in our hearts, however, when you have a consistent feeding of the word, your chance of falling into sin becomes less and less. It becomes less and less because you are renewing your mind and feeding your spirit man with the necessary nutrients to be spiritually successful. Let me encourage you to continue to hide the word of God in your heart because it’s changing you into who God called you to be one day at a time.
